Home Game

Gush Katif through the eyes of their youth

Producer: Avi Abelow
Director: Yaron Shane

Home Game the movie on Gush Katif, not just remembering the destruction that we experienced with the destruction of 15 flourishing Jewish communities in the Gaza Strip, but being inspired by the spirit of Gush Katif.

Don’t miss the opportunity to watch the most powerful movie about Gush Katif, through the eyes of their youth. They struggled to win on the basketball court as they struggled to remain in their homes.

Today, 12 Tribe Films are producing Home Game the sequel, to inspire Am Yisrael with that same inspiring Gush Katif spirit that lives on, across the State of Israel, 15 years after the families & communities of GK were split up and spread out across the country.

We inspired a generation with Home Game the movie, now help us continue to inspire with producing the sequel, Home Game: the Comeback. To inquire about partnering with 12 Tribe Films to make this movie happen please contact avi@12tribefilms.org

The Battle for East Jerusalem in the Six Day War – Avraham Duvdevani

Former Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, Avraham Duvdevani, tells his personal story of the battle for East Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967. He talks about the tough battles, the loss of his comrades, and of the mixed feelings as the Old City was captured and the city of Jerusalem reunified.

The Volunteers of the Six Day War

Featuring our former Director Solly Sacks, he takes a look at those volunteers who came from abroad to Israel in 1967 to assist the State of Israel during and following the Six Day War. Solly was part of a group of volunteers from South Africa who were sent to Kibbutz Shluchot in the Jordan Valley close to Beit Shean.

See pictures from 1967, as well as photos from their reunion in Shluchot which took place in the days leading up to the 50th anniversary celebrations which took place in Jerusalem in 2017.

Jerusalem of Gold/Yerushalayim Shel Zahav

The Mizrachi World Movement has partnered with the dynamic and renowned Chazan Netanel Hershtik and leading musicians and music directors in Israel to produce a unique music video of Naomi Shemer’s legendary “Yerushalyim Shel Zahav”.

This was produced in honor of the 49th anniversary of the celebration of Yom Yerushalayim as we prepared to enter the 50th year since of the re-unification of our Holy City.

This video clip with powerful and stirring visuals tells the story of a young girl who gets separated from her parents and gets lost in the Muslim and Christian quarters of the Old City eventually finding her parents at the Western Wall. It is a metaphor of the Jewish people’s trials and tribulations in exile until finally returning to our ultimate spiritual home – Jerusalem.
